According to the ASPCA, 3.2 million cats end up in shelters every year across the US and around 860,000 are euthanized each year. When you adopt a cat you not only help save one furry friend but another cat may now take up that open space in the shelter or allows rescue groups to take in more animals.
Cats are also known to help lower stress levels and help you cope with anxiety, depression, and loneliness. Bringing home a new kitty will help brighten your day and improve your overall life!
